Sury has over 43 years of experience in multinational FMCG & Apparel Retail Industry in Asia Pacific and India. He has worked in senior roles in leading Global Companies like Unilever, PepsiCo and Levi Strauss. He was Head of Levi’s business in South Asia & Japan and was a member of Levi Strauss & Co. APAC Leadership team in Singapore, handling different leadership roles in Business Strategy, Process Improvement, Capability Building, Planning and Profit Center responsibilities over 12 years .
Sury has proven credentials in designing and leading implementation of large-scale business transformation projects involving Strategy, Operating model and Process Change along with Culture and Organisation Capability Building. His detailed understanding of Front-end Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial Acumen makes his approach holistic and comprehensive. He has been a key leader of several successful start-up teams in Asia, India and Middle East. He brings forth a strategic perspective along with on-ground experience of what it takes consumer facing companies to succeed in emerging markets.
Sury holds a B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
A Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Arun has over 20 years of experience in successfully leading Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Product Fulfilment& Technology teams to optimal brand positioning in competitive markets.
Having grown and developed two of his own start-ups to an exit stage, he has a robust awareness of the start-up universe, thereby being able to lead them to a higher growth trajectory. Arun has proven success in improving key business indicators such as revenue, efficiency, cost savings, profit margins and customer service.
He possesses in-depth, hands-on knowledge of every facet of a business – Technology, Product, Supply Chain, Logistics & Marketing. This puts him in a unique position of being able to understand business needs and translate those insights into strategic digital interventions. Combining tech expertise with business acumen, he advises as well as implements strategies that help take businesses to the next level.
